Thirty-two Hill College athletes receive NJCAA All-Academic honors

Thirty-two Hill College student-athletes recently received All-Academic Student-Athlete Awards from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for the 2017-18 academic year. The program honors athletes across the country for their academic success based on their grade point average (GPA). 

The Hill College women’s basketball and baseball teams were named All-Academic Teams, with team GPAs of 3.29 and 3.28, respectively. 

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Academic All-Americans are Cierra Doyal of Durant, Okla., and Maci Ray of Mabank.

Hill College had eight athletes earn NJCAA All-Academic First-Team honors (4.0 GPA), eight received second-team honors (3.80-3.99 GPA) and 16 earned third-team honors (3.60-3.79 GPA). The following Hill College athletes earned NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete Awards:
